The xDrive40i is powered by BMW's renowned 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6, producing 335 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and BMW xDrive all-wheel drive. This is the sweet spot in the X5 lineup strong, smooth and remarkably quick without the fuel consumption of the V8 models.

The X5 xDrive40i can accelerate from 0-60 mph in roughly 5 seconds, while EPA fuel economy is approximately 20 MPG city / 26 MPG highway / 22 MPG combined.

It also offers up to 7,200 pounds of towing capacity, giving this luxury SUV genuine utility in addition to its impressive performance.

Luxury That You Can Feel

The cabin is where this X5 really separates itself from ordinary SUVs. Vernasca leather, heated front and rear seating, heated steering wheel, panoramic roof, Head-Up Display, premium technology, multi-zone climate control and power seating create the kind of environment you'd expect from a much more expensive luxury vehicle.

The Parking Assistance Package with Surround View is particularly valuable, providing a bird's-eye perspective around the vehicle and making tight parking situations much easier.

Safety & Confidence

The 2020 BMW X5 earned an IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ designation when equipped with qualifying headlights. The X5 received Good crashworthiness ratings across the major IIHS tests, while its standard front crash-prevention system earned a Superior rating. Standard safety equipment includes Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning/Collision Mitigation, Driver Monitoring, multiple airbags, stability and traction control, plus available parking-assistance technology.

Award-Winning X5

The X5 has long been recognized as one of the benchmark vehicles in the luxury SUV segment. The redesigned X5 generation earned strong critical praise for its refined ride, handling, technology and powerful engines, while the 2020 model's safety performance further reinforces its reputation.

With an original MSRP of $69,045, this X5 represents a substantial luxury-vehicle investment when new. Today, it provides an opportunity to enjoy BMW's legendary inline-6 performance, xDrive AWD, premium leather, panoramic roof, Head-Up Display, advanced parking technology and an extensive luxury equipment list without paying anything close to its original new-vehicle price.

If you're looking for a fully equipped luxury SUV that delivers genuine driving excitement without sacrificing comfort, this X5 xDrive40i deserves a serious look. The combination of 335-hp turbocharged performance, AWD, leather, heated front and rear seats, panoramic roof, Hea
