What is Included in the Kia Warranty?

Kia’s warranty is for a duration of 10 years / 100,000 miles (whichever comes first), which is one of the most generous warranties available. The full warranty consists of:

  • 10-year / 100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty
  • 5-year / 60,000-mile limited basic warranty
  • 5-year / 100,000-mile limited anti-perforation warranty
  • 5-year / 60,000-mile roadside assistance plan

Please note that this warranty is for Kia vehicles from 2008 and subsequent model years.

What Does the Roadside Assistance Plan Include?

Whether it is on the daily commute or on a big road trip, something can go wrong. The roadside assistance plan provided through the Kia warranty can help with minor mishaps such as dead batteries or changing a flat tire. This plan is available 24 hours a day.

What is the Kia Trip Interruption Policy?

One of the best things about the Kia warranty program is that it has a trip interruption policy where if a warranty-related disablement occurs when you are over 150 miles from home, and if any needed repairs need more than 24 hours to complete, Kia will provide reasonable reimbursement for any rental car expenses, along with meals and lodging.
